Our three’s curriculum provides intellectual stimulation for the children in the Pine Tree Room. They learn the basic concepts of learning, in an exciting, fun, educational and active way. Our methods open up a world to the children through firsthand experiences with people, places and things. Our daily indoor/outdoor exercise helps to keep children physically active and fit while they can make use of their large and small muscles. We continue teaching basic reading and writing skills, through the instruction of letters and numbers. We encourage the children to choose books to read for their daily story time. We have computers in the classroom to help ensure that our children will be familiar with modern technology. We provide many opportunities for the children to explore their creativity and imagination through dramatic play and arts & crafts. Children have the opportunity to explore their senses in the sensory area. Science activities are built into our curriculum, where children can do their own observation and hands on activities. Music is explored daily with activities such as dance, instruments, rhymes & singing.
